Jonathan Safran Foer

Jonathan Safran Foer was born in 1977. He is the editor of the anthology A Convergence of Birds: Original Fiction and Poetry Inspired by the Work of Joseph Cornell, and his stories have been published in the Paris Review, Conjunctions and the New Yorker.

Hamish Hamilton published his first novel, Everything Is Illuminated, which won several literary prizes, including the National Jewish Book Award and the Guardian First Book Award in 2002. His second novel, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, was published in 2005.

Eating Animals, his first non-fiction book published in 2010 exposed the truth about how meat is put on our dinner tables. His next work, Haggadah, will be published by Hamish Hamilton in early 2012.
