Sonya Hartnett
Sonya Hartnett lives in Melbourne. Her previous novels include What the Birds See, which won the Commonwealth Writers Prize in 2003 and Thursday’s Child, winner of the Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize 2002. She was honoured with the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award in 2008. Her latest novel, Butterfly, was published by Hamish Hamilton in 2009.
